Re: The Children’s Wish Foundation
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
CUPE Newfoundland and Labrador has been approached by The Children’s Wish Foundation, Newfoundland & Labrador Chapter to aid in granting a wish to a Wish Child in our province.
We are one of only two unions in our province to be asked to participate. Our Sister union, NAPE, has also been asked if they could also offer some assistance in this worthwhile cause.
In order to grant a wish to a sick child, we need to reach $10,000. To date, we have raised $5,100 which means we are halfway to our goal. If you have already donated – thank you! If you have not, we hope your local will find this a worthwhile way to help those in need and show people that we are truly a union that works for our communities. No contribution is to small!
You will need to make your cheques out to CUPE NL with Children’s Wish Foundation written on the memo line. Please mail them to:

On November 5, 2017 the Children’s Wish foundation will host a Radiothon at O’Rielly’s Pub on George Street and will show their appreciation to its sponsors on NTV news and OZ FM Radio to acknowledge donations.
Sisters and Brothers, the communities in which we live and work have always known the membership of CUPE NL for their dedication to family and to community involvement.
